Our History
1989
Jon commences his studies as a building designer straight out of high school. By the early 90s, he is fully qualified, a member of the Building Designers Association of QLD and QBCC licensed in the building design industry.
1991
Jon started in the building design industry in 1991 with Geoff Mitchell of Geoff Mitchell & Associates. Over the next twelve years, Jon would start as a junior draftsman and work his way to office manager.
1998
In 1998, building certification was introduced into Queensland, resulting in Geoff Mitchell becoming one of the leaders in the building certification industry. The seed was planted to form the new company: Nerang Creative Design.
2003
Nerang Creative Design started trading in 2003, with Jon taking over the reins from Geoff Mitchell & Associates. He progresses to becoming managing director and ultimately the owner of this new company.
2021
